Pereira played 70 minutes in Valencia’s victory, making one key pass.

Deportivo Alaves 1-2 Valencia- 28th October

The young midfielder played the whole game. He was given man of the match after assisting one of the goals.

Sam Johnstone (Aston Villa)

Birmingham City 0-0 Aston Villa- 29th October

Sam Johnstone kept a clean sheet in the Second City derby at the weekend, making three saves.

Next fixture: League game away to Preston North End.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Crystal Palace)

Bristol City 4-1 Crystal Palace- 24th October

Fosu-Mensah played the whole game in this humiliating loss in the Carabao Cup.

Crystal Palace 2-2 West Ham United- 28th October

The defender came off the bench on the 11th minute as Patrick Van Aanholt suffered an injury. Palace came back from 2-0 down to gain a credible point.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (Leeds United)

Leicester City 3-1 Leeds United- 24th October

Borthwick-Jackson came off injured on the 46th minute as Leeds were knocked out of the Carabao Cup.

Leeds United 1-2 Sheffield United- 27th October

The youngster wasn’t in the match-day squad for this game.

Dean Henderson (Shrewsbury Town)

Peterborough United 1-0 Shrewsbury Town- 28th October

Henderson played the whole game, making five saves.

Regan Poole (Northampton Town)

Northampton Town 1-0 Blackpool- 28th October

Poole played the whole game in midfield as Northampton gained a vital three points in their relegation fight.

Redmond wasn’t included in the match-day squad.

Matty Willock (FC Utrecht)

VVV Venlo 3-1 FC Utrecht- 25th October

Willock came on for the injured Robin Van der Meer on the 32nd minute.

FC Utrecht 2-2 NAC Breda- 29th October

Willock came off the bench on the 80th minute and had 100% passing accuracy.
